How Harb delivers for a school
The same four steps as every Harb project, scheduled so instruction is never interrupted.
Step 1: Walkthrough with administration
We tour the building with your administrators and facilities staff, review arrival, dismissal and event routines, and look at every exterior door.
Step 2: Design and written proposal
Every door, camera, detector and device is placed on the floor plan, phased for breaks and summer, and priced in writing for your board.
Step 3: Installation during breaks
Harb crews install over summer, breaks and evenings so classrooms are never disturbed. Existing doors keep working until the new hardware is proven.
Step 4: Training and ongoing support
We train the front office, administrators and custodial staff, hand over documentation and stay on call through the school year.

Can the front office control who comes in?
Yes. A secure vestibule with an intercom, camera and remote unlock lets staff see and speak to every visitor before the inner door opens.
Can we lock the whole building at once?
Yes. A lockdown button or phone command locks every controlled door immediately and can alert staff at the same time.
Do you install metal detectors?
Yes. Walk-through and handheld units for daily screening or for events, sized for the number of people you move through.
When would the work happen?
Over summer, on breaks, or evenings and weekends. We plan the schedule with you so instruction is not interrupted.
Do you work with churches and private schools?
