Overview

Light the property properly, then stop paying to maintain it.

Commercial LED fixtures last far longer than the metal halide, fluorescent and high-pressure sodium lighting they replace, shrug off vibration and cold, and use a fraction of the power. The maintenance savings alone often pay for the upgrade.

Because Harb also installs cameras, we design lighting with security in mind: even coverage across lots and entrances, no dark corners, and color rendering that turns grainy night footage into usable video.

What Harb's LED lighting gives you

  • Energy savings

LED fixtures use a fraction of the power of the lighting they replace, cutting the utility bill every month.

  • Longer life

Rated lives measured in tens of thousands of hours mean far fewer ladder trips and lift rentals.

  • Shock and weather resistant

Solid-state fixtures handle vibration, cold Ohio winters and wet locations without failing.

  • Better camera footage

Even, color-accurate light lets your cameras identify people and plates at night.

  • Controls

Photocells, occupancy sensors and schedules so lights run only when they are needed.

  • Eco-friendly

Lower consumption and no mercury, with old fixtures recycled responsibly.

How Harb delivers an LED lighting project

We survey the existing lighting, design the replacement and install it with minimal disruption to your operations.

  1. Step 1: Lighting survey

We count and photograph your existing fixtures, measure light levels and note dark spots, camera positions and safety concerns.

  2. Step 2: Design and written proposal

We select fixtures and controls for each area, estimate the energy and maintenance savings and price the project in writing.

  3. Step 3: Installation by Harb crews

Harb crews replace fixtures area by area, often after hours, and dispose of the old lamps and ballasts properly.

  4. Step 4: Training and ongoing support

We set schedules and sensors with you and remain available for additions as your property changes.

FAQ

Questions about led lighting

Still have a question? Call (440) 783-0216 and talk to a technician, not a call center.

  • How much will I save?

It depends on what you are replacing and how long the lights run. We calculate expected energy and maintenance savings for your fixtures as part of the estimate.

  • Can you reuse my existing poles and wiring?

Usually. Most LED area and wall fixtures mount to existing poles and boxes, and existing circuits generally have more than enough capacity for the lower LED load.

  • Will the lights help my cameras?

Yes. Consistent, color-accurate LED light is the single biggest upgrade you can make to nighttime camera footage. We design the two together.

  • Do you handle disposal of old fixtures?

Yes. Old lamps, ballasts and fixtures are removed and recycled or disposed of properly as part of the project.
