Some buildings are easy to cable. Others are finished, historic, leased or spread across a lot with no conduit between them. Harb designs around the building in front of us: hardwired where it makes sense, wireless and cellular where it does not, and often a mix.

For video, the bigger question is where footage lives. Recording to the cloud means an intruder who takes the recorder takes nothing. We set up cloud storage, local storage or both to match your retention and budget.

  • Is wireless as reliable as hardwired?

    For the right application, yes. Modern point-to-point links and wireless sensors are proven in commercial use. We still recommend hardwired where cable runs cleanly, and we tell you which is which on the estimate.

  • What happens to my video if the internet goes down?

    Cameras keep recording locally, and cloud upload resumes when the connection returns. Where needed we add cellular backup so alarms still report during an outage.

  • How much does cloud storage cost?

    It depends on camera count, resolution and retention. We show cloud, local and combined options with pricing so you can choose.

  • Can you link two buildings without running cable between them?

    Yes. A point-to-point wireless bridge carries cameras, readers and network traffic between buildings across a lot or campus.
