The challenge
Uptime and compliance are non-negotiable
A hospital cannot pause for an installation. Patients are in every wing, staff move through every corridor and emergency care continues no matter what is happening in the ceiling above. Work has to happen around clinical schedules, with dust control and infection-prevention precautions in occupied areas.
The systems themselves carry extra requirements. Cameras must protect patients and visitors without intruding on privacy in care areas. Access control has to secure pharmacies, medication rooms, records and staff-only spaces while letting clinicians move quickly. Fire alarm and life-safety systems have to pass inspection every time, because the hospital's accreditation depends on it.
